The University of MG has released the results of BEd First Allotment on August 12th, 2022. The Candidates can check their BEd First Allotment at the Official Website of MG BEd cap.mgu.ac.in/bedcap. The MG University BEd Admission will be done through a process CAP (Centralized Admission Process).

BEd Trial Allotment 2022

A Trial allotment will be conducted to give the applicants an idea about the chances of getting allotment to a programme and college based on the options, merit and reservation rules. After the First allotment candidates will be allowed to verify and rearrange their options.

The Trial allotment does not guarantee the candidate to get allotment in a college or programme of his/her choice,since the ranks may vary in actual allotment subject to the rearrangement of options by applicants after the First allotment. No new course of college can be added at any stage of the allotment process.

MG University BEd Allotment

The allotments will be made from among the list of colleges and programmes opted by the students.There will be two main allotments and additional allotments if necessary.

MG University BEd First Allotment

The first allotment will be published on 12.8.2022. On receiving allotment to a particular option, all other lower options will automatically be cancelled and only the higher options will prevail until deletion by the candidate.

All candidates received allotment should remit mandatory fee to claim their allotment in E-chalan /online payment. Remittance of Mandatory fee for

General Category -Rs.480/-

Sports Affiliation Fee = Rs. 280/-

University Union Fee = Rs.85/-

Allotment Fee = Rs.115/-

Remittance of Mandatory fee for SC/ST /OEC category – Rs.115/- In the first allotment, Candidate shall not report at the college for claiming their alloted seat.

The candidates failing to remit mandatory fee will lose allotment received and will not be considered for further allotments.

The candidates satisfied with the allotment received shall cancel all their higher options. In case the higher options are not cancelled the candidates will be considered for the higher options and will bound to relinquish the previous allotment and must take admission to the allotment received to their higher options.

MG University BEd Second Allotment

The second allotment will be published on the scheduled date. Candidates received allotment for the first time should remit mandatory fee to claim their allotment; those who had remitted the mandatory for the first allotment need not pay the mandatory fee again. The candidates failing to remit mandatory fee will lose allotment received and will not be considered for later admission.

MG University BEd Permanent Admission

Candidates should take Permanent admissions at the colleges allotted. Candidates can retain higher options if they are willing to be considered for the further allotments.

MG University BEd Admit card

Candidates who received allotment and paid mandatory fee can take admit card available in the website and report for permanent admission. Admit card will be available only to the candidates who receive online allotment to the merit seats. Admit card will not be available for candidates admitted to Management quota.




Instructions to the Candidates

Candidates who are applying online shall follow the instructions given below:

The candidates can view their allotment status by logging into home page using their application number and password.

Applicants who got first allotment should download “Allotment Memo” after remitting the fee due to University through the online payment gate way. Only those candidates who remit the fee due to University (General category – Rs. 938/- (for students who have graduated from MG University), Rs 1203/- (for students who have graduated from other Universities), SC/ST –Rs. 50/-) shall be able to download the allotment memo. The allotment memo can be downloaded by clicking on the link “Click here to print your Allotment Memo” and should be produced before the Principal of the College to which the candidate is allotted.

Those candidates who do not report for admission in the allotted college on or before the date specified, will lose their current allotment as well as the eligibility for participating in the further allotments.

The students should report to the colleges allotted on or before 16/08/2022, 4.00 pm and should produce the following documents for verification.

Allotment memo downloaded from the University CAP Portal
The originals of the gradecards/marklist(s) of the qualifying examination.
TC and Conduct Certificate in original from the institution last studied.

Certificate in Original in support of caste/communal reservation
Programme wise Eligibility/Equivalency Certificate from MG University for those who have qualified from other Universities NCC/NSS Certificates in original, if applicable.

Certificate in original in proof of Ex-Servicemen/Dependent from Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer concerned, if applicable

Non-creamy layer Certificate/BPL Certificate in original issued by the competent authority in the case of candidates who claim reservation under SEBC category /Economically Backward among Forward Communities.

The students who got allotment on their first option should remit the fee applicable to the course in the institution at the time of admission. Those students who decide to seek permanent admission by cancelling the higher options also shall remit the fee in the institution. Those who retain higher options need not pay any fee in the institution at the time of admission. However, in the third allotment they should remit the fee applicable to the programme secured in the higher option and if not secured, they should remit the fee applicable to the programme secured in the previous option.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are allowed to take provisional admission upto the special allotment conducted exclusively for them.
Candidates can rearrange/delete options on 17/08/2022.

Candidates should save the options after rearrangement of options
A candidate is bound to accept an allotment as per the priority of options registered. If he/she gets allotment in the subsequent phase, based on higher options against arising/future vacancy, he/she has to relinquish the seat already occupied by him/her.

Failure to report for admission by a candidate in the allotted college at the stipulated time and date will result in the forfeiture of his/her chance for admission to that programme/other programmes/further allotment(s).

Any request to retain a previous allotment after a further allotment (based on the higher options registered) will not be considered under any circumstances.
Candidates should take care to logout after completing the modification process

Documents to be submitted at the time of admission

Candidates should produce all the following original documents along with the online application print out at the time of admission to the colleges/centres concerned.

a) S.S.L.C (Secondary School Leaving Certificate)

b) Qualifying Degree (Degree/P.G.) Certificate

c) Marklists of Qualifying Degree Exam. (Part I, II & III)/Consolidated grade Card & of higher qualifications, if any.

d) Equivalency Certificate from the University of MG in case of candidates who passed the qualifying examinations from Universities outside Kerala.

e) Transfer Certificate (obtained from the last institution studied) and Conduct Certificate(obtaine within 6 months)

f) Nativity Certificate from the Village Officer in respect of those who are eligible for Nativity Weightage .

g) Community Certificate from the competent Authority in the case of SC/ST/SEBC

h) Non-creamy layer certificate in the case of candidates eligible for admission under SEBC reservation.

i) Medical Certificate for eligible candidates under Persons with disabilities (Percentage of disability should be specified in the certificate issued by the Govt. Medical Board).

j) Experience Certificate in Form IV of KER for claiming admission under Teachers Quota and for getting Weightage for teaching experience for those applying under Merit Quota. These Certificates should be signed by the Head of the School and Counter signed by A.E.O./D.E.O/Regional Deputy Director in the case of HSST.

k) A certificate from the Head Master stating that the teacher has applied through properchannel for eligible leave to undergo B. Ed course should be produced.

l) Certificate from the competent authority claiming Ex-Service/Wife of Ex-Service/OtherDependents of Ex-Service/Wife of serving personnel/Other dependents of serving personnel, in the case of Ex-service Quota, should be produced.

m) Any other certificates from the competent authorities for the claim for admission under any specific quota weightage viz. Sports/Linguistic minority/N.C.C/N.S.S. etc. If any of the documents is not produced, the Head of the Institution has the right to summarily reject the claim for admission.n) A community certificate along with the Income & Assets Certificate (Ref: G.O.(Ms)No.128/2022/HEDN Dated 20.03.2022) issued from Village Officers/ Thahasildar should be produced by the candidates who wish to avail reservation under EWS category at the time of admission.
